The Problem: 69% of Americans believe diversity in media is critical. 59% of Blacks and Hispanics don't feel they are properly portrayed in media. All Americans should feel seen, heard and understood no matter their racial, socioeconomic or religious background.

Working as the only full-time African American woman in the newsroom for over a decade, our founder, Crystal I. Berger realized one way to eradicate racial stereotypes in our society is by providing access to diverse perspectives on all platforms and implementing inclusive and equitable practices in every newsroom.

On track to be the first API to provide an agile and inclusive media booking solution, EBO has a roadmap to streamlining access to newsrooms and other content platforms for marginalized communities, traditionally coveted and dominated by non-diverse groups. We pride ourselves on offering an efficient integration that makes access to diverse perspectives fast, safe and inclusive.
Why Support Us? EBO identified 3 problems preventing diverse media bookings: access, efficiency, and accountability. We are experienced industry veterans who intend to change the booking industry by addressing issues head-on, while giving our community a highly customized expert-contributor experience. As committed journalists, storytellers and driven social entrepreneurs, we know the opportunities are endless in media for people of color. We are a sound investment and have big plans!
Where will your $$$ go? In order to be pitch-ready for seed funding, we need to plan, brand, and test our API. Your contributions will help EBO get to the funding finish line. Funds will be used for:
Optimization of our current API's backend.
Brand architecture, strategy for our sub-brands, finalize our brand copy.
Design work to redo our logo/ website + social media support.
Get additional legal agreements in place so we can continue to create equity for our team.
Hire a sales team to help us build a profitable business.
Bring on technical expertise/identify a CTO.
Create a program to invest a percentage of our funds back into local communities.
